Chris’ Kitchen Dedication

We dedicated our Kitchen to celebrate the generosity of past Board member Chris Chambers. Chris served as a Board Member of Red Mountain Family Services and was dedicated to serving the children in New Mexico’s Foster Care system. Attending the dedication were her husband, children and grandchildren. Also attending were her friends from her church alongside the children and Treatment Foster Families and Staff of Red Mountain. This event took place during our Annual Thanksgiving luncheon.

July 2023 Party

Our Annual July 4th party introduces First Responders to our children in a fun and non-threatening way. This year was no different. Our day of fun was hot, but everyone cooled down with the massive water-fight.All were treated to a lovely lunch of subs and All-American apple pie. A build-a-boat boat race course, and the ever popular water soakers, with the children ganging up on the Gladiator Football Team and New Mexico United Soccer Team, ensured that anyone in the way got a refreshing splash of water as well. Where did it go?

Red Mountain Family Services announced today that, after the 2nd Annual Weichert HOPE Suitcase Drive that all of the donated money and luggage has been given to children in New Mexico Foster Care. Money raised thru donations that day, purchased luggage, soft plush animals, children’s books and hygiene products. Those items along with the donations from the drive went to children in foster care. We are happy to have provided luggage to several children in Treatment Foster Care that were at the Suitcase Drive, Zuni and Navajo Tribes, Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home, New Day Shelter, ARCA and CYFD offices in Raton, Socorro and Taos.
