SERVICES & PROGRAMS

At Red Mountain Family Services, we concentrate on programs where we can make the biggest difference. By limiting ourselves to our areas of expertise we provide the best care to those we serve. No one is ever treated as a number but as an individual with unique needs and a customized treatment plan.

TREATMENT FOSTER CARE PROGRAM

Red Mountain Family Services Treatment Foster Care Program consists of a network of highly trained foster families who provide care to children. These children may have severe, complex, and persistent emotional disabilities, possibly in combination with mental retardation; or they may be in crisis but could be safely stabilized in a therapeutic family setting. Treatment foster care is family-based care. Our standards for Treatment Foster Parents are very high. We believe we have found very talented and dedicated individuals who are motivated to care for children with complex needs. They are highly trained and committed. All of our Treatment Foster Parents have extensive evaluation of their family, including interviews, background checks, home visits, and observations. Our Treatment Foster Parents are required to complete a training curriculum prior to being approved to receive a child into their home. Red Mountain Family Services Treatment Foster parents are trained and supported to implement several key elements of treatment in the context of family and community settings. The role of Treatment Foster Parents is vital, as they provide all of the therapeutic care.
