Painting Hope Into the New Year

Painting Hope Into the New Year

As we welcomed the new year, our staff came together to create something special for the families and children who walk through our doors each day. With paint, ladders, and plenty of laughter, a new mural began to take shape, one leaf, flower, and bold color at a time.

What started as a blank wall quickly turned into a space filled with warmth, growth, and hope. The mural is more than art; it’s a reflection of the care, creativity, and dedication our team brings to this work every day. It reminds us that new beginnings are possible, that beauty can grow anywhere, and that this building is more than an office; it’s a place of support, connection, and fresh starts.

As the year begins, this mural stands as a bright welcome to everyone who enters, and a reminder that we are building something meaningful together.

Graduation Party

Willow graduated and we threw her a Graduation Party. We are so proud of our graduate, and were so honored to host this party. Lots of good food, a DJ and cute decorations that were made by the Treatment Foster mom and dad. Support came from many friends, high school administrators, all of the foster families, and of course city leaders who are always so supportive of Red Mountain. High school graduation is not the norm for children in New Mexico's foster system and we couldn't be more excited for Willow and her future.

Fashion Show

Recently, Red Mountain Family Services hosted our first Fashion Show. We frequently host events for the children in our care, and for the Treatment Foster Families that work so hard to care for these children. When one of the children expressed their desire to have a Fashion Show, we thought why not? We were surprised that so many of our kids wanted to participate. And we were so proud with how the kids overcame their fears to walk the runway. It was a really fun day.
