Red Mountain was honored to have Miss Navajo Nation 2021-2022, Niagara Rockbridge, come to our offices and share many aspects of the Navajo culture with our Treatment Foster Parents and the children in their care. Everyone enjoyed an afternoon of learning about traditional dress, and traditions, book reading in English and Navajo, and a cooking demonstration of Blue Corn Mush.
It is our responsibility to discover, champion and value the wonderful diversity of the children and families that live in New Mexico. It was such a great afternoon to learn about and support the Navajo tribe. We will never forget our time with Niagara and the office of Miss Navajo Nation.
